Indications
Cetraflux 3 mg/ml eye drop solution is indicated for the local treatment of the following infections caused by strains sensitive to ciprofloxacin, in neonates (0-27 days), infants (aged 28 days to 23 months), children (aged 2-11 years), adolescents (aged 12-16 years) and adults:
Purulent bacterial conjunctivitis
Corneal ulcers
Corneal abscesses
Keratitis

Box of 20 single dose vials.
Dosage
Corneal abscesses: Cetraflux 3 mg/ml eye drop solution should be administered at the following intervals, including overnight.
On day 1, apply two drops into the affected eye every 15 minutes for the first six hours, then apply two drops every 30 minutes for the remainder of the day.
On day 2, apply two drops into the affected eye every hour.
From day 3 to day 14, apply two drops into the affected eye every 4 hours. If the patient needs to be treated for more than 14 days, the dosing regimen is at the discretion of the doctor.
Purulent bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, corneal ulcers: Apply one or two drops into the affected eye(s) every 2 hours during the day for the first two days, then one or two drops every 4 hours until the infection has resolved.
The dosage regimen may be adapted at the discretion of the doctor.
